Kiana got accepted to be on the Adaptive Action Sports Snowboarding Team based out of Copper Mountain Colorado in 2015. She is the first upper limb female to be on the team, as well as a USA Paralympic hopeful. She has started her training shortly after her first trip up to the big mountain to advance her skills to a higher level to compete. From there, she hopes to qualify to make the USA Paralympic team which would then allow her to travel world wide this coming 2018-2019 season as well as gaining more snow competition experience with fellow adaptive athletes..

After having a great first season with the Adaptive Action Sports Team, Kiana is focused on getting more fit as well as off board self training. She has set long and short term goals for herself, and is super excited to start the new 2018-2019 snow season. This will be her first year to start acquiring points for the USA team, as well as competing in the world circuit. Her main goal is to get as much board time as possible and advancing her skills on the snow to qualify for the USA team to go to the next Paralympics in 2022 Beijing.
